Local app data

RoadCove stores video, optional audio, route, speed, motion, settings, and drive records locally in the app’s private storage. The app has no advertising, cross-app tracking, behavioral analytics SDK, mandatory account, or automatic publisher-cloud upload.

Permissions

Camera is required for recording. Microphone and Location While Using the App are optional. Notifications are optional. RoadCove does not request Always Location or Photos-library access; exports use the system share sheet only after you choose to share.

Recorded evidence

When enabled, speed, GPS coordinates, date, and time are permanently drawn into video frames. A shared recording therefore includes those visible details. Motion-based event protection is processed on device and is not used to identify you or build a profile.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases and restoration under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. RoadCove receives only the verified transaction state needed to unlock RoadCove Pro.

Sharing and deletion

Media leaves app-private storage only when you select a destination in the system share sheet. You can delete recordings in RoadCove or remove the app. Protected events are excluded from automatic loop cleanup until you remove protection or delete them.

Support information

If you email support, we process the email address, message, screenshots, and attachments you choose to send only to answer the request, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. RoadCove does not attach recordings or precise location automatically.

Security, children, and transfers

RoadCove uses the iOS app sandbox, file protection, atomic journals, and privacy-redacted logs. No safeguard guarantees absolute security. RoadCove is not directed to children under 13. Apple and any export destination you choose may process information in other countries under their own policies.
